Economic Tips for Parents Do your kids ask you questions about economics at the dinner table or while riding in the car? How prepared do you feel to answer those questions? We've put together some great ideas to help you with your discussions.



Midsize Economics Workshop

Midsize Economics, co-sponsored by the Virginia Council for Economic Education and the Powell Center, is a one-day workshop for middle school teachers. The goals of this exciting day are to provide the best possible training (including State Standards of Learning), excellent classroom materials and practical hands-on lesson plans for middle school educators. Professionals from the Powell Center and the Virginia Council for Economic Education collaborate with award-winning teachers and educators to conduct this program.
